Hotel Front Desk Personnel Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Front Desk Personnel to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience from the moment they step into our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet guests upon arrival, check them in and out of their rooms, and provide them with any necessary information or assistance.
Manage reservations over the phone, through email, and in person, ensuring all details are accurate and guest preferences are noted.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with a proactive, solution-oriented approach, escalating to management as necessary.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure all rooms are clean, safe, and fully functional. Actively assist the housekeeping team in their duties to maintain the highest standards of room cleanliness and readiness.
Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and generating invoices.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel’s services, facilities, and local area attractions to provide guests with recommendations and directions.
Ensure the front desk and lobby areas remain clean and presentable.
Assist in managing emergency situations, maintaining composure and following hotel protocols.
Perform administrative duties such as managing guest records, issuing room keys, and handling mail and deliveries.
Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
